Is it b/c I wear a hat to class with tennis shoes? (which they happen to refer to as "baskets" in French)  Is it b/c I eat as much as about 4 europeans at the dinner table?  Or is it b/c I shake my butt in non-conventional ways on the dance floor?  Whatever it may be, I have gotten the nickname "American Boy" here in Neuchâtel.  Some of my friends have me as "american boy" on their cell phones, and of course I say something that sounds a bit strange to the locals here....it's b/c I'm american.  Oh w

Yippy!  I have officially seen a winter sport.  It was a lot of fun, although I gotta admit that I don't understand the rules of hockey.  Nevertheless, I cheered and had a good time.  The place we went to was about a 20 minutes drive from where I'm staying, but the weather changes so much.  It was actually snowing in the city during the day.  While driving up, I saw snow on the nearby mountains.  When I stepped out of the car, I was freezing my butt off!  But I was able to manage, especially drink

Hey family!  Hope you all are doing great and having lots of fun.  Right now I'm in a small city in Switzerland, but having a great time.  The people in my classes are awesome, the place I'm living in is in the city center and they're some great parties coming up this wkend :-)  Classes here are intense.  I sometimes have 8-9hours of class lecture a day and I'm averaging 2 class presentations a week.  Lots of group work and presentations to do where I can use an orange!  haha Our graduation video i

What a week!  I had about 23 hours of cours this past week.....thx goodness one of them go canceled or else it would've been 27hrs!  But overall the classes were excellent.  There is a lot of energy by the profs, except 1, and the group work is going strong.  But with all the hard work, u gotta get out of the office and get some fresh air.  I definitely tried to do that!  Being the first week of school, there was a lot of parties around the area and so I had to take advantage. Nothing better after a long week of classes, work and partying than sitting outside in the warm sun and just chillaxing!  It's so nice!  Neuchatel is an amazing city and can really become a different place depending on the weather.  It was soooo nice yesterday.  People everywhere walkings, tons of windsurfers on the lake...it was great!  I actually went to the lake with my Russian roomie to do some homework, but took a break to make a video :-)  So enjoy my little clips!   Mikey in Neuchâtel'

Last night my internet went down while I was talking to my girl....not cool! This movie questions whether the idea that global warming occurs because of the carbon that is created by man.
